Take the trip to idyllic Aurland this summer, and experience spectacular surroundings in the village where the fjord meets the mountains. Aurland is known for its many unique attractions, such as the Nærøyfjord, the Stegsatein viewpoint, the wonderful Flåmsbana, the world-famous Aurlandskoen and much more. In Aurland's shoe factory, all production of Aurland's products takes place, and here we also have one of our two outlets. Our second store Aurlands Outlet is located in Flåm, a short drive from Aurland. If you want to learn about the craft tradition and history of Aurlandskoen "The Original Penny Loafer", you can book a guided tour of our factory. Here you can experience seeing how the shoe is made, meeting the shoemaker.

Do you want bunad shoes that are not only elegant and comfortable, but also Norwegian? Aurlands now has bunad shoes, with genuine silver buckles from Vossasylv. The bunad shoe is based on our traditional shoe models; Buxton and Wangen. The silver buckle is made of genuine silver, and is made in Voss by Vossasylv. If you have a shoe buckle yourself and want to buckle it on your Aurland bunad shoes, you can send them in to Aurland's shoe factory and we will sew them onto the bunad shoes for you.
